COMSATS has selected a few emerging sciences as well as technologies, as priority areas in the context of their useful application and suitability to the socio-economic conditions of the developing world. So far, COMSATS has ventured and achieved major landmarks in the fields of Information Technology, Renewable Energy, Climate and Environmental Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Development of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME). In view of the changing national/regional priorities and expanding areas of expertise of the COMSATS Network of Centres of Excellence, the focused areas get revised from time to time. |
