COMSATS Membership Compaign
| The campaign for increasing the
members of COMSATS, beyond the current strength of 21, has been
started. More developing countries are being invited to join
COMSATS as members. The countries contacted so far include Yemen,
Oman, Iraq, U.A.E, Brunei Darussalam, Algeria, Malaysia, Somalia,
Palestine, Turkey, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Lebanon,
Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Kenya, Myanmar, Brazil, and Bosnia.
The campaign proved highly successful and it is expected that
quite a few more countries of the third world would be joining
COMSATS soon. |
